WOW!! It's unbelievable to me that we are leaving in less than 72 hours!! As I'm writing the blog, I'm listening to the Revelation Song by Phillips, Craig and Dean. This is one of my personal favorites, but the words ring so true.
"With all creation I sing, praise to His holy name.
You are my everything, and I will adore you.
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.
With all creation I sing, praise to the King of Kings,
I WILL ADORE YOU."
It's so amazing to really listen to the words, and realize that no matter where we are in the world, we sing together with all creation to praise our awesome King! I'm truly humbled to be able to be a part of this team that will see the world through a new pair of eyes.
We packed our extra suitcases last night, we even filled an extra one on accident! SO many blessings we have been given...THANK YOU!!! One thing that has been personally overwhelming has been the generosity of all people who are following our trip. We have asked for much, and received much. We are truly blessed beyond measure. We also had a time of prayer last night with our prayer partners and other members from our church. It was amazing to be bathed in prayer last night as we make final preparations for this journey!! Our God is awesome!
There are some things you can still pray about below:
~Nerves and anxiety are getting more apparent in everyone as the trip gets closer, for some this is their first trip so it is intimidating...pray for a sense of peace as we travel to Nicaragua.
~Pray specifically that we pass through customs on Friday night (around 7:40 pm...if all flights are as scheduled ;-)
~Pray that our lives may reflect the conduct that God has put in each of us through the Holy Spirit.

Angie, I LOVE that song!! My new fav! You will literally be joining with all creation this week. Missed your fellowship on the patio tonight but know that you need your beauty sleep. Praying for a restful sleep before you take off in the morning. We are covering you in prayer! ~jk

ReplyDeleteIt was so good to see you off bright and early this morning, although it was about 2 1/2 hours earlier than I typically crawl out of bed. But it gave me some great prayer time upon arriving home. You are ALL in our daily thoughts and prayers throughout the next 10 days. Since you are reading this message it means that our prayers for safety in travel have already been answered. God is good! Enjoy this exciting opportunity you have to be the hands and feet of God- serve Him well!
